Additional Notes
We are looking for 1-3 undergraduates (depending on hours) to assist with field and lab based research. These students will work directly with graduate students and researchers over the summer. Tasks will include data collection in the field and lab, isolation of plant pathogenic microbes, experimental maintenance including weeding and staking plots, media preparation, data entry, and work in the growth chambers to maintain and inoculate plants. No experience in research is required, and there is potential to continue work in the fall semester. Specific tasks and projects depend on the interests of students and needs of the lab.
